The PWFC would like everyone who attends the convention to have a good time. To keep this a
fun and friendly gathering for both the con attendees and our guests of honor, please abide by
  these simple rules:
Con Badges: Attendees must wear the con-issued convention badge in a visible area on their
person at all times while in the convention areas.
Convention areas include the meeting rooms, registration area, the adjoining corridors, etc.
Photography/Video: Flash photography is permitted for the first five minutes of any panel at
the convention hotel. Please stop when the con emcee announces that no more flash photos are
allowed. Many flashes going off are very hard on the eyes. The convention will have designated
con photographers who may take flash photos at any time.
You may take flash photos during the charity auction.
No video or audio taping of the convention. The PWFC may be videotaping the event.
Questions: We’d love you to ask your questions during the panels. Thoughtful and funny
questions produce the most interesting answers. Please don’t make our Guests of Honor or
other fans uncomfortable by asking personal questions. Also, do not ask questions related to
fan fiction or in reference to slash media. Fan fiction does not exist for legal reasons and our
  guests cannot comment.
Guests of Honor: All of our Guests of Honor are giving much of their time. Please respect their
“down time.” This is basically time when they are not on-stage or performing. It is okay to say
hello if you see them in the hallway or at the elevator. However, do not interrupt them in the
bar or invite yourself to join them in any restaurant. Remember there are many of us and only
a few of them and they need to have break time.
Con Staff: The con committee members will be wearing badges that say “Staff”. We will answer
any questions that you may have but will also expect that you follow any instructions we give
you. This is for the well being of you, the con attendees, and the guests.
Respect Each Other: Usually everyone is great, but sometimes we just miss something or get a
little loud. Be aware of other PWFC members and really honor our motto, “Let Friendship
Thrive” by making at least two new friends over the weekend.
If you have a problem or a situation during the convention, please let the Con Staff know so we
can try to resolve it quickly.
