  Peter Wingfield
Peter’s career took a sharp turn when he accepted the role of
Methos in Highlander, one that he didn’t anticipate, but it
changed his life.  His work took him from the UK to North
America where he’s continued to build a career that has taken
him on fantastic voyages (Riverworld, Andromeda, and
Sanctuary), villainous pursuits (24, Human Target, NCIS LA),
and romantic interludes (Men In Trees, Bliss, Cold Squad).  He’s
even drawn on the knowledge from that almost medical degree
to play a doctor a few times (Holby City, Queen of Swords, Medics).
Now, he’s returned to medical school and is aiming for that degree.
Since 2002, Peter has attended nearly all of the PWFC conventions, only missing one due to work
in England, and even then, he joined us via the magic of a chat screen.  He’s surprised us and
charmed us as he’s shared stories, music and some special moments with his fan club.
  Eric Small
The ConCom is delighted to announce our second guest for the New
England Convention in June 2014.  Barring any professional
commitments that might intervene, Eric Small, writer, producer and
director of 10,000 Days, in which Peter plays Remy Farnwell, will be
joining us in Manchester. Eric wrote and produced JumpRopeSprint,
which also featured Peter.  Besides those projects, Eric was a writer
and producer on the Penn and Teller: Bullshit!  series and he wrote
the TV movies, Code Red and The Dust Factory.
Eric is a friend of Peter's and is looking forward to meeting
everyone and talking about his projects in Manchester.  So bring
your questions and comments about 10,000 Days and get ready to
  meet a fun guy!
Regrettably, for us, Eric has something that came up that prevents him from joining us in person,
but we will be able to chat with him for a bit via the magic of video chatting.  So, we will still get
to ask our questions and learn about his projects.
  Valentine Pelka
Just recently confirmed, Valentine Pelka will be joining us in
Manchester for the weekend!  It’s always great to see Valentine
and chat with him.  Unlike Kronos, he is absolutely charming
and fun in person.  Well, I guess Kronos had his own charms, as
did Col. Montoya.  Valentine, of course, defined these
characters from Highlander and The Queen of Swords.  He was
also a charming presence in Under the Tuscan Sun, the
handsome Sir Patrise in First Knight, and also appeared in 8
MM 2, The Pianist, Double Identity, Defining Fay, and I Spit
on Your Grave, as well as many guest appearances on British
TV series.  He has a new project, or two, in the works that he
will be telling us all about, so it’s going to be fun catching up
  with all the latest.
  Edan Wingfield

For the third time, Peter’s son Edan will be joining his dad at
the convention and performing for all of us at the Saturday
night ceilidh.  Edan was an original member of Breaking 27
when he was living in LA and even made the anti-bullying tour
with his band in 2012.  With so many miles separating him
from the rest of the band, he left them in early 2013, but he is
still an awesome guitarist, a talented budding artist and a great
  young man.
