What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Wikipedia explains: “RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that’s easier than checking them manually.” For a more detailed explanation, visit the Wikipedia site.
Subscribing to the PWFC RSS feed
You’ll need a news reader such as Google Reader, Bloglines, My Yahoo!, Sage (for Firefox).
Click on the RSS icon on the news page or use this one: ![]()
If you’re using IE 6.x, you'll be taken to a strange-looking page. Copy the url address at the top of the browser window. Paste that url in the “add feed” field in your news reader.
For all other browsers, the icon will take you to the news feed and, depending on your browser, give you the chance to subscribe to the feed.
The PWFC Webwiz doesn’t know much more about RSS feeds than what you’ve just read. If you have problems subscribing to the PWFC feed and you’re a member of the club, ask for help on the club email list. If you’re not a member of the club, check the help menu in your news reader. If you subscribe to the PWFC Fan Forum, ask for help there. Someone may be able to help you.
