Matching Fund Challenge
Make A Difference!
How much can $5 help a child’s suffering?
$3 can buy one dose of antiretroviral drugs for an HIV-positive mother or child.
How about $15?
$15 can buy an HIV test for infants born to HIV-positive mothers.
$20?
$17 can immunize a child against the six major childhood diseases.
Small donations can do more than you might imagine. . .and now it can do even more.
The PWFC launches its Project Edan Matching Fund Challenge
for 2008
Two generous PWFC members have donated the base fund for the challenge of $2,000. Can we triple this primary donation over the next ten months leading up to the Road Trip Convention in Las Vegas? I think we can. So, let’s see if we can turn $2,000 into $6,000 to donate to UNICEF via Project Edan. With luck, the actual donation may partner with a UNICEF Matching Fund and turn into even more money for our charity. Think how much good that can do.

One of the cool things about a Matching Fund is that it doesn’t require large donations to make the goal. Several small donations help build the fund as well as a single larger donation, so everyone can participate at any level. While you can make donations by PayPal, a check is actually better. PayPal takes a portion of the money for their handling fee and with a check all the donation goes to Project Edan.
But whichever way you choose, your donation is very welcome and much needed to improve the lives of children who have very little hope. Even if it is only $5, it will make a difference, and combined with the other donations, it can be an amazing difference to many children.
