News
Message From Peter:
"I just heard the shocking news of the death of my dear friend and Highlander editor (and occasional director) Don Paonessa. In an extraordinarily tragic twist of fate, he had only a few days ago received the news he had beaten cancer, but died after a fall at his home in LA. I just can’t get my head around how utterly cruel life can be. He was a wonderful, deeply good-hearted man, and an exceptional fine artist as well as an artist within the discipline of film editing, and I shall miss him terribly. Just when you think the sun is starting to peek through the clouds…”

10,000 Days - Season 2, Is Counting on You!
Eric Small, the writer, producer and director of the award-winning "10,000 Days" web series wants to do a second season
and the cast and crew are on board with this project, including Peter Wingfield.
As you might know, Peter is super busy with his residency and being a doctor, but he is planning to
make time to film his role of Remy Farnwell.
But the financing of this enterprise is the problem of the moment,
so they have turned to a Kickstarter campaign to try to raise enough funds
to get the next two episodes done.
They really need your help. It doesn't have to be a big donation... the offers start as low as $5 and go up from there.
Think of it as a cup or two of coffee that is going to give you great pleasure later on. Isn't it worth at least that?
If you enjoyed the series and want to see what happens next, then please pledge a $5 or $10 to getting these episodes done.
Peter tells you all about it in this video.
And Season One of 10,000 Days is now on YouTube for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks to all!

PWFC Membership Is Now Free
As of October 1, 2012, the PWFC became a free club. Since Peter has returned to medical school, it seemed a good time to change the club to a free one. We only ask that you register as a member. In return, we will send you access information for the members only pages, notices of news updates and access to the new issues, beginning in January 2013, of the club magazine LFT. To register, go the membership page.
Marathon BLOG from Peter
Peter ran the Vermont Marathon at the end of May last year and kept us all appraised on his training as well as his run on his Marathon Blog page here on the PWFC site. Peter ran to support the Steps to Wellness program, rasiing over $2500 for them. A few photos from the Marathon are in the gallery here. He is planning to run it again in 2013 so we will likely be seeing marathon updates on it as we get closer to it. In the meantime, Peter is sending other videos and answering Q&A questions via video blogs.
Go to the blog to sign up and comment. You do not need to register in order to read the blog, but will need to if you want to respond to a post.
Peter's videos are now posted on his Marathon Blog page.
Peter's Mudder Challenge
Peter was part of a team from UVM in the New England Tough Mudder challenge on May 5, 2012. In keeping with the spirit of the event, the team all finished together, helping each other along as needed. A few photos from the Tough Mudder are in the Gallery here.
A Message From Peter
BIG NEWS!
I am returning to medical school as of August 2011, so acting will take a back seat for a while.
I will be at UVM in Burlington, Vermont in the Class of 2015.
I cannot tell you how excited I am and how grateful for all the messages of support I have received. You really are an amazing group and I am privileged to have you in my corner.
I'll be keeping you posted with how it all unfolds over the next few months and years. So, watch this space…
